Practice Makes Perfect
The camera made many appearances over the past weekend.
Of course, Chloe had to get her time in the spotlight while I was in Cape.
My brother actually took these pictures. I think they might be better than mine. Jerk.
The only way to get Chloe to stare this intently at the camera is to use a treat. And Jake just so happened to capture Chloe reaping her rewards.
Saturday night, Chad and I curled up with the dogs and two movies. Calm doggies = perfect time to practice.
Alvin is already completely over the camera. He glared at me while I was taking pictures. I don't mean that he would squint when the flash went off. I mean that he was flat out staring me down. 
See what I mean? Finally, Chad was like, "Kristal, I think he's pissed at the camera." I put it away, and sure enough, he perked right back up. What a jerk!
But I snuck it back out again...I had to get some close-ups of those adorable lips!

I still haven't read the user's manual. Hopefully I'll get the chance to sit down and really look through it this week or even this weekend. I'm ready to learn some new tricks!

I love the ANTM poses best. And seriously, the fact that he was glaring at you is so typical...Henry is getting that way ,too. Geesh, don't they understand?
How have you not read the manual yet? I read that thing the first night cover to cover and then Sunday I made a cheat sheet. I know I'm a dork:)
Get the camera bag! It's so cute and if you are able to swing a girlie one I might be a little jealous of you:)

I love the model shots - so cute!
I love the close-ups of Alvin's lips. And I think they are better posers than most of the ANTM winners. The nice thing about Monty is that he is such a ham and he loves the camera. As long as you're giving him attention, he will give you lots of energy. Jason gets mad when I tell any of our animals to "work it, girl!"

Oh my gosh. Those pictures of Alvin had me LOL'ing.
You could caption that first picture of Alvin with something like "get off my lawn" <--think of that in a crochety Clint Eastwood voice.
Hey, what great pics of your adorable doggies! I also have those snowflake jammie pants... Most. Comfy. Pants. Ever. In fact, I'm wearing them as we speak...er... type! I just got a new DSLR too... haven't yet tackled the manual and really need to!
